Tampa International Airport – Convention Hotels Ground Transportation
Tampa International Airport (TPA) is the primary airport for Tampa. The airport is located approximately 10 miles and a 20-minute drive from the downtown hotels and Tampa Convention Center/Amalie Arena.
Uber and Lyft are $20 – $30 each way depending on time requested. Guests departing the airport using Uber or Lyft can be picked up by the service provider at Red Baggage Claim, the Blue Express Curbside, or the Remote Curbside at the SkyCenter One office building. A service fee of $5.00 will be added to the cost of the fare. Guests may be dropped off at any public access location including Ticketing, Baggage Claim or the Remote Curbside at the SkyCenter One office building.
Taxi service by Yellow Cab is available at the curbside outside the Baggage Claim Level at the Ground Transportation Areas, Red 1 and Blue 2. The fares are: $3.50 for the first 1/5 of a mile or part thereof , plus $2.50 per mile. The minimum fee from the airport is $20. There is a flat rate fee of $35 to downtown Tampa where the convention hotels, convention center, and arena are located.
