Take advantage of the December Tampa weather and join us for the AVCA Golf Tournament! The tournament will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 13 at Rocky Point Golf Course. Buses will depart approximately 7 a.m. from the Tampa Marriott Water Street and will return back to the Marriott Water Street by about 3:15 p.m. that afternoon.
The AVCA Golf Tournament includes: 
- Green fees
- Access to warm-up range
- Golf cart
- Transportation to/from golf course
- Buffet lunch
- Golf themed gift bag
- Prizes for tournament champions
- Prizes for contest winners
The tournament will be played as a scramble format with four player teams. Participants may form their own team or AVCA will put individuals or groups of less than four together as a team. Pre-formed teams and AVCA formed teams will compete for separate tournament championships. Participants will be sent a form in November requesting team information and other details.
The tournament will be played in rain unless it is a torrential downpour. Play will be stopped for lightning.
Golf clubs may be rented for $40 per set. There is a maximum of (50) rental sets available from the course first-come, first-served. AVCA will provide the golf course contact for club rentals in November.
Coaches that would like to participate in the AVCA Golf Tournament should register for the Golf Tournament & Full Registration package. Please note there is maximum capacity of (110) golfers in the tournament. Openings will be filled first-come, first-served. The tournament will be open only to those registered for the AVCA Convention until November. If tournament spots are still available in November, AVCA will reach out to those who are registered and will begin accepting friends/family in the tournament at that time.
