Tampa Information

Coaches attending the AVCA Convention will have the opportunity to explore the city and take advantage of several unique experiences offered only in Tampa. Activities within walking distance of the convention hotels include the Florida Aquarium, Tampa Bay History Center, Magic Carpet Glide Segway Tours, Pirate Water Taxi, Tampa Riverwalk, and the TECO line streetcar. Other activities within a short drive include Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, Zoo Tampa, and Winter Village Tampa.

AVCA Convention Attendees – Free Ice Skating in Winter Village

Welcome to Tampa! Celebrate the holiday season in Tampa’s Downtown at Winter Village, presented by the Tampa Bay Lightning, in Curtis Hixon Park! Located along the Tampa Riverwalk, Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park is transformed with the sights, sounds and activities of the holidays.
